How do you make eyebrows naturally thicker?

Thicken eyebrows naturally

Our eyebrows give expression to our face, strengthen facial expressions and help determine our attractiveness. They also protect the eyes from sweat, dust and foreign bodies and thus support the function of the eyelashes.

If the eyebrows are too thin, they can no longer fulfill their function optimally. Heavy plucking, cutting, or waxing are among the most common causes of eyebrows thinning. But also a lack of certain nutrients, diseases such as hypothyroidism, eczema and alopecia areata and side effects of chemotherapy and radiation can cause the eyebrows to fall out faster.

There are some home remedies that can help stimulate eyebrow growth and thereby shape them better.

castor oil

Castor oil is rich in proteins, vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants that nourish the hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. It also protects the body from various microorganisms that hinder the growth of the eyebrows.

To use castor oil: soak 1 cotton swab in pure castor oil and dab both eyebrows with it. Massage the oil gently into the skin with your fingertips for 2 to 3 minutes and let it work for 30 minutes or overnight. Then wash off the oil with lukewarm water. Repeat the application once a day and for several weeks in a row.

Note: Castor oil can cause stinging and irritation to the skin on sensitive skin. If there is sensitivity, the oil should be avoided.

Onion juice

Freshly squeezed onion juice is rich in sulfur compounds which are very beneficial for eyebrow growth. They promote the production of collagen tissue, which is very important for eyebrow growth, and strengthen the hair follicles. With regular use, onion juice helps improve the density and growth of the eyebrows.

To use onion juice: Cut 1 small onion into small pieces, place in a fine-meshed cloth and squeeze the juice out of it. Gently massage the eyebrows with the juice for 5 minutes. Let the juice dry and then wash it off with cold water. Repeat the application once a day and for several weeks in a row.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is high in vitamin E, iron and various proteins that promote the growth of healthy and thick eyebrows. It also helps darken the eyebrows.

For the use of coconut oil: rub a few drops of coconut oil on your fingertips and heat. Spread the warm oil on the eyebrows and massage in gently with your fingertips for 3 minutes to increase blood circulation. Let the coconut oil work overnight and rinse off with warm water the next morning. Repeat the application daily for at least 1 to 2 months.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera moisturizes the skin and contains enzymes that nourish the hair follicles and accelerate the growth of thick eyebrows. Aloe vera also helps keep the skin near the eyebrows soft and supple.

For the use of aloe vera: Take the gel from an aloe vera leaf and mix ½ teaspoon of aloe vera gel with a little honey and melted coconut oil. Apply the mixture to the eyebrows, leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse off with water. Repeat the application once a day and for several weeks in a row.

olive oil

The high vitamin E content in olive oil stimulates the growth of the eyebrows and ensures that they become thicker and darker.

To use olive oil: Warm up ½ teaspoon of olive oil and gently massage the eyebrows with the warm oil for 5 minutes before going to bed. Let the oil work overnight and wash off with warm water the next morning. Repeat the application once a day until the desired result is achieved.

Alternatively, ½ teaspoon of olive oil can be mixed with a few drops of honey. Apply the mixture to the eyebrows and use it to massage the eyebrows for 5 minutes. Let the mixture work for 30 minutes and then wash off with warm water. Repeat the application once a day until the desired result is achieved. Honey provides the skin with additional moisture and nourishes it.

Fenugreek seeds

Fenugreek seeds are high in protein, nicotinic acid, and lecithin that promote hair growth. The seeds also aid in rebuilding the hair follicles and help thicken the eyebrows.

For the use of fenugreek seeds: Soak 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in water for at least 5 hours and then grind the soft seeds into a thick paste. Add a little coconut oil or almond oil and mix well. Apply the paste to the eyebrows before going to bed, leave it on overnight and wash off with warm water the next morning. Repeat the application 2 to 3 times a week for at least 2 months.

More tips for growing eyebrows:

  • In the direction of hair growth, massage the hair follicles of the eyebrows daily for 3 minutes with circular movements.
  • Exfoliate the skin around the eyebrows once a week to remove dead skin cells and promote blood circulation.
  • Avoid constant plucking or waxing of the eyebrows.
  • Reduce make-up on the eyebrows. The make-up clogs the hair follicles and disrupts the supply of nutrients.
  • Avoid vigorous scratching or rubbing of the eyebrows.

There are several home remedies and tips available for naturally stimulating eyebrow growth. In addition to these home remedies, it is important to eat a nutritious diet. Our body depends on various nutrients to stimulate and accelerate hair growth. These include vitamins A, C, E, proteins, omega 3 fatty acids and iron.
