Lze efektivně oboustranně komunikovat a já tuto kameru používám i místo domovního video zvonku.

1. Charge the supplied battery.

Charging the battery First fully charge the battery by connecting it to a power source with the orange cable supplied.
The little light on the top glows green as soon as the battery is fully charged.
= Charged = Charging If you can't wait to play with your Spotlight Cam, you can go ahead and set it up right away. However, we recommend fully charging the battery before installation. 5

Inserting the battery After charging, insert the battery into the Spotlight Cam until it clicks into place. Then close the lid so that it clicks into place.

2. Set up your Spotlight Cam in the Ring app.

Download the Ring App The Ring app guides you through setting up and managing your Spotlight Cam.
Search for "Ring" in one of the app stores listed below or visit: ring.com/app.

Spotlight Cam Wired Spotlight Cam Battery Set up your Spotlight Cam near your router Select Set Up Device in the Ring app.
When prompted, select Spotlight Cam Battery and follow the app instructions.

Try it!
Once set up, tap the Live View button in the Ring app to see the camera video.

Is there a white light blinking?
If the light on the bottom of your Spotlight Cam flashes after it's set up, the internal software is updating.
The update process can take up to a few minutes. The light will stop blinking when the update is complete.

Test the video quality outdoors.
Now take your Spotlight Cam outside near where you want to install it.
Check the video quality again.
Everything looks good?
Then move on to the next section.

3. Mount your Spotlight Cam on the wall.

Screwdriver Use the screwdriver handle to hold the provided bit.
Screwdriver Shaft Use the end of the Phillips screwdriver to attach the mounting bracket and the star-shaped end for the security screw on the mounting plate.
Drill Bit Use this to drill holes when installing on a masonry surface such as gypsum plaster or brick.
Mounting bracket First attach the bracket to the wall, then insert the Spotlight Cam into the base Mount Screws (5) Use these to attach the bracket to the wall.
Wall Anchors (5) Use these to secure the mounting bracket to the wall when installing on a hard surface such as gypsum plaster or brick.

Installing the Mounting Bracket First mark the holes using the mounting bracket as a guide.
When installing on a masonry surface, you must first drill the holes with the supplied drill. Insert the wall anchors before inserting the screws.
When mounting on a wooden surface, you can screw the bracket directly into the wall.

Attach the Spotlight Cam to the bracket Slide the ball into the bracket until it clicks into place.

Adjust the camera angle To ensure accurate motion detection, position the camera with the motion detector parallel to the floor.
Tighten the side screw to secure the camera position.

If you have a ring solar module ...
The ring solar panel continuously charges the battery of your Spotlight Cam - there is no need to charge or replace the batteries.
Skip this section if you don't already have a Ring Solar Panel.

Mark the holes and choose an installation location where the solar panel will receive at least 1 hour of direct sunlight per day.
Use the mounting arm as a template to mark the holes.

Installing Wall Anchors (Optional) If you are installing on a hard surface (such as gypsum plaster or brick), use the supplied drill bit to pre-drill the mounting holes.
Then insert the wall anchors.
Skip this section if installing on wood or siding.

Screw the Mounting Arm into the wall (or the wall anchors if you are mounting on a hard surface) using the included mounting screws until the mounting arm is securely in place.
Note: It is easier to screw on the mounting arm before attaching the solar panel.

Attach the solar module Slide the solar module onto the mounting arm and make sure that it is firmly connected.

Adjust the angle Loosen the screw on the mounting arm and adjust the module to the desired angle. Then retighten the screw to secure the setting.

Connect the cable Remove the weatherproof connector directly on the bottom of your Spotlight Cam.
Insert the power plug of the ring solar module into the power connection and make sure to align the screw holes.

Secure the cable Attach the power cable to the Spotlight Cam with the screws provided. This will ensure that your Spotlight Cam remains waterproof.
Note: Make sure you have charged the supplied battery and inserted it into the Spotlight Cam. The ring solar module keeps the battery charged, but does not replace it.

4. Try out all interesting functions.

After making settings, select your Spotlight Cam in the Ring app.This will take you to the device dashboard where you can change settings and access various features.

Turn motion event notifications on and off.
Trigger the siren to scare intruders.
Tap it to see live video from the Spotlight Cam. From here you can see, hear and speak to visitors and control the siren and lights.

The Event History shows you a log of all the events recorded by your Spotlight Cam.
Visit Device Health to diagnose any problems you may encounter.
Select Motion Settings to adjust the motion detection settings Change the brightness of the lights in the Light Settings.

Motion Detection The Spotlight Cam uses three customizable motion zones that the Spotlight Cam will monitor and alert you to. If movement is detected in one of your movement zones at night, the lights on the Spotlight Cam will turn on.
To customize your motion zones and how long the lights stay on when they are triggered, tap Motion Settings, then tap Motion Zones.

Notifications If your phone is locked when the camera detects a live event, a notification will appear on the home screen.
If your phone has a password, you will need to enter it to access the live event.

5. Do you have any problems?
Here are some answers ...

The Spotlight Cam's battery is not supplying power.
Make sure the battery is properly inserted in the compartment. If it doesn't, insert the battery.
If the battery is installed, remove it and use the orange power cord to connect the battery to an electrical outlet. If only the green light is on, the battery is fully charged.
There are two battery compartments, but the Spotlight Cam only comes with one battery. Do I need another battery for the Spotlight Cam to work?
The Spotlight Cam only needs one battery to function properly. You can purchase another battery on Ring.com to extend battery life and avoid downtime while the battery is charging.

I'm having problems making the settings in the app.
If the settings in the app fail, check the light on the bottom of your Spotlight Cam. The light color indicates the problem.
Flashing red means that your WiFi password was entered incorrectly. Select your WiFi network in your phone settings. Then select the option to forget it and reconnect to confirm that you are using the correct password during the settings.
Blinking blue means your Spotlight Cam may be too far from your router to get a good signal. You may also need a Ring Chime Pro to boost the WiFi signal to your Spotlight Cam.
Learn more at: ring.com/chime-pro Flashing green indicates a possible problem with your internet connection. Unplug your modem or router from the power supply for 40 seconds, plug the modem or router back in and repeat the setting process.

Why can't I find the temporary ring network on my mobile phone?
Sometimes your mobile phone cannot find the temporary ring network. In this case, go to your phone settings, switch off the WiFi connection, wait 30 seconds and switch it on again.
If the ring network still does not appear, please ensure that at least one battery is installed in your Spotlight Cam and that it is fully charged.
If none of the tips above helped ...
Perform what is known as a hard reset on your Spotlight Cam by holding the setting button for 15 seconds, waiting 30 seconds and repeating the setting process.
If this doesn't help ...
Turn off cellular data reception and Bluetooth on your mobile device and try again. You can reactivate this after the settings.
If this doesn't help ...
Try running the settings on a different mobile device.

Why can't visitors hear me on my Spotlight Cam when I speak through the app?
If you are using an iPhone or iPad, please check the microphone permissions on your device.
Select Settings, search for Ring and select the app. Finally, check that the switch next to the microphone (Microphone) is on.
If you are using an Android device, go to Settings> Application / Apps> Application Manager> Ring> Permissions. Make sure everything is checked there.
Why is my video and / or audio quality poor?
The first thing to do is determine the cause. Remove your Spotlight Cam and bring it near your router. Open the Ring app and press the Live View button or start a motion event to see live video.
If you can get good quality video near your router, then you will need to extend your WiFi signal.
We recommend Ring Chime Pro to boost the signal to your Spotlight Cam.
