  • 1989 - 1997 degree in geography with minor subjects biology and geology at the University of Bremen
  • Diploma in February 1997 with a thesis entitled "Investigations into the creation of an excursion program for the southern Wurster Watt, taking into account ecological, nature conservation and target group-relevant aspects"
  • Since 1992 mudflat guide
  • 2000-2003 agenda commissioner in the community of Ritterhude
  • 2003-2010 environmental educator at the Environment | Tönning Youth Hostel, Schleswig-Holstein
  • since 2011 freelance environmental educator and multiplier in Bremen: environmental education for children and young people, school classes, adult education; Moderation in the context of quality management in environmental education and nature conservation. Author of teaching material. Lecturer for StattReisen Bremen e.V.
  • since 2012 as a research assistant, physiogeography, with a focus on excursions and physical geography of northern Germany

Microplastics in beach sediments on the North Sea coast.
